Message from the F-HEF Chairman

- Since Fishburne Military School was founded in 1879, challenges have faced the school from World Wars, economic crises and societal changes that created struggles to fill the barracks. Through it all, for 141 years, the school has survived and endured.

FMS Welcomes New Alumni Office Assistant

- Fishburne Military School is pleased to announce the addition of our newest Alumni Office staff member, Mrs. Amy Wells – fms! Amy is the Alumni Office Administrative Assistant and is excited to be a part of the Fishburne family and is looking forward to working with FMS alums.

FMSAA Hosts Homecoming Cookout

- Last Friday was the FMS Homecoming football game and Parents weekend. Even though our Caissons came out on the short end of the score, they fought hard. Fun was had by all Alumni, Cadets, and Parents who attended ... A special thanks to the FMSAA Ladies Auxiliary for providing delicious deserts.

FMS Flys Flag in Honor of Alumnus, Honors Instructor

- The flags Fishburne Military School bore additional significance on Monday. The flag above the FMS front parapet was originally presented at the funeral of Mr. William Case Parker, FMS Class of 1938, who passed away July 1st.

Tiemann ’70 Publishes Leadership Guide

- A new book, “Developing World Class Leaders: The Ultimate Guide to Leadership Development” by Rick Tiemann, Fishburne Military School Class of 1970, is sure to become a required part ofRick Tiemann, Fishburne Military School 1970, and book Developing World Class Leaders every Caisson’s Leadership Library.

Fishburne Military School Alumnus Demonstrating Leadership for Life in Oklahoma

- John Rorke, Fishburne Military School Class of 2001, received a standing ovation on Monday as the Oklahoma House of Representatives honored him as their Veteran of the Week.

Fishburne Military School Mourns Passing of Giant in School History

- Joseph Byron Yount III, 76, former Waynesboro mayor and longtime city attorney, well known for his half century of board leadership at Fishburne Military School and as a local historian, speaker, and writer, died Sunday October 2, 2016.

Shackleford: I learned to be a leader at Fishburne

- Keith Shackleford didn’t remember who spoke at his Fishburne Military School graduation in 1988, but he remembers practically everything else about that day.
